The search for Miss Iloilo Dinagyang 2011 is up to a higher level as the prize package for the pageant winner includes travel abroad as Ambassadress of Goodwill.In addition to the trip abroad, Miss Iloilo Dinagyang 2011 will receive a cash prize, trophy, sash, a bouquet of flowers, plaque and other gifts fit for a beauty queen.
This was announced by the new management of the 2011 Miss Iloilo Dinagyang as application forms for contestants are being distributed in different outlets to attract young ladies to join and vie for the title.
The Sarah Peña-Pangging Rosales (SPPR) Reel Productions is next year's operations manager of the beauty search and working committees have been organized to spearhead the contest.
The formal launching and contract signing for members of the Miss Iloilo Dinagyang 2011 SPPR steering committee was held on October 20 while the screening of candidates will be on November 22.
The public will meet the candidates on December 1, 2010, and they can see the photo exhibits on January 2 to 12, 2011. The candidates will undergo a barangay emersion program from January 9 to 13, 2011, for a Big Sister Day program that will focus on women and children advocacy.
A Young Designers' Night will be held on January 15 while another photo exhibit featuring the candidates will be shown on January 18. Coronation and pageant night will be on January 18, 2011, at SM Cinema 6.
